Collaborative working also known as joint or partnership working, covers a variety of ways that two or more organisations can create value whilst in a mutually collaborative relationship, to allow them both to achieve shared competitive goals and benefits through mutual trust and honesty.

Who are we?

Chief Executive - Stephen Abrahams FICW 

Steve Abrahams has professional quality and collaborative working experience spanning 37 years, 14 of which were with Siemens and 11 with Babcock International.   

Steve is a Non-Executive Director on the management board of the Institute of Collaborative Working, and works with Senior professionals across all industry types to help them implement and integrate their own bespoke collaborative working systems and to understand and utilise the benefits of collaborative working alongside their existing quality systems. 

Steve raised the collaborative profile of Babcock to become recognised as a global collaborative leader, winning multiple awards for collaborative teams.

Steve has solid management experience in senior roles including manufacturing, service, defence and security, media, and government. He has been drafted in to review  multimillion pound projects across different industries to recommend improvements in both the Quality and collaborative working aspects. 

Steve developed and rolled out a continuous improvement methodology and customised it by combining the best parts of Six Sigma and Lean. This made savings of £8M.  Steve has also created and rolled out business continuity management systems and obtained certification to ISO22301.

Steve has managed various projects to close multiple legacy quaity and business management systems and replace them with single systems. This improves the ability to ensure company data is safe and staff can find documents they require quickly and easily. New workflows improve efficiency and reduces paper transactions.

Steve lived and worked in Austria for 12 months and travelled to Germany regularly presenting to international delegates on various quality, supply, collaborative working and improvement topics.  

Sterling-Holbeck is designed to be more agile than other larger consultancies and able to adapt quickly and effectively to integrate into large/medium corporations and also work alongside smaller /macro SME’s.
